The My Tasks app mainly stores data locally on the user’s device.
The My Tasks app does not create a separate app account. Connecting Google Drive, iCloud, Apple ID, or another supported cloud service is used only by the user’s choice for backing up or restoring data.
On Android, backups may use Google Drive and Google services. On iPhone/iOS, backups may use iCloud, Apple ID, iCloud system settings on iPhone, or Google Drive if this option is available in the current version of the app.
We cannot remotely delete data that is stored only locally on the user’s device. The user deletes such data independently inside the app, by uninstalling the app, or by clearing app data in the device settings if this is supported by Android, iPhone/iOS, or the current version of the app.
If the user used an external cloud service, such as Google Drive, iCloud, or another supported service, to back up app data, the user can independently delete backups in the relevant cloud service or disable the app’s access to that service in their account or device settings.
At the user’s request, we can delete or restrict the processing of technical data related to purchase verification, security, support, and abuse prevention, including the technical installation hash, subscription status information, product identifier, purchase verification tokens or identifiers, if storing this data is no longer required for legal compliance, security, dispute resolution, or purchase confirmation.
Data deletion requests are usually reviewed within 30 days.
How to delete local data
To delete local data, the user can:
- delete tasks, files, attachments, and settings inside the app;
- use the data clearing function inside the app, if it is available in the current version;
- uninstall the app from an Android device or iPhone/iPad;
- clear app data in the device settings, if this is supported by the platform.
How to delete backups
If the user used Google Drive, iCloud, or another supported cloud service for backup, the user can delete the backup independently in the relevant cloud service.
On iPhone/iOS, backups and access to iCloud are usually managed through Apple ID, iCloud settings, and iPhone system settings. If Google Drive was used on iPhone/iOS, the backup can be deleted in Google Drive.
How to request deletion of technical data

In your request, include:

We may retain some data if it is necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or purchase confirmation.
